Delta gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Hillcrest Huskies with a sharp 11-1 victory. The Rabbits not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 9, 2024.
Cy Droubay made a splash while hitting and pitching. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Droubay was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
In other pitching news, Hunt Roninson looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
Back at the plate, Kyler Davies was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
