Delta gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener  on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Hillcrest Huskies with a sharp  11-1 victory. The Rabbits not only won  on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win  since March 9, 2024.
 Cy Droubay made a splash while hitting and pitching. He  pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Droubay was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-3.
 In other pitching news,  Hunt Roninson looked comfortable as he  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits.
 Back at the plate,  Kyler Davies was a standout: he scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Carson Nielson, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Delta  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .536. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hillcrest only posted  an  OBP of  .316.
 Coming up, Delta will head out on the road to  square off against  Grand County  at 11:00  a.m.  on Friday. As for Hillcrest, they will challenge South Summit at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday.
