Grandview Prep is 7-2 against Atlantic Christian since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Florida (Grandview Prep is ranked 191st, while Atlantic Christian is ranked 207th).
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Grandview Prep can now relate to. They fell just short of the Sharks by a score of 58-55. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Marco Jordonne, who scored 16 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Xavian Charles, who scored ten points along with eight assists.
Grandview Prep's loss dropped their record down to 19-4. As for Atlantic Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-4.
Grandview Prep couldn't quite finish off Atlantic Christian in their previous matchup on Saturday and fell 58-55. Can Grandview Prep avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
