The Wahoo Warriors will head out on the road to face off against the Norris Titans on Tuesday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, everything came up roses for Wahoo on the road against Aurora as the team secured a 77-33 win. With Wahoo ahead 43-19 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Marcus Glock went supernova for Wahoo, going 7 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 29 points and 2 assists. That makes it two consecutive games in which Glock has scored at least 25% of Wahoo's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Simons, who scored 7 points along with 7 steals and 3 blocks.
Meanwhile, everything went Norris' way against Northwest on Saturday as Norris made off with a 71-46 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Norris.
The opposite results left the teams with opposite records: Wahoo's win pushed their record up to 2-0, while Aurora's loss dropped theirs down to 0-2.
Wahoo didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Norris in their previous matchup back in February of 2022, but they still walked away with a 59-53 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wahoo since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
