Austyn Modrzewski Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Mountain Vista got the W thanks in part to Austyn Modrzewski playing the best football he has all season. Modrzewski threw for 425 yards and five touchdowns while completing 88% of his passes, and also rushed for 30 yards and a touchdown. He's now once again averaging 300+ passing yards (303.8) per game. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in October of 2023.
If history really does repeat itself, Modrzewski might just drop another big game when he faces off against ThunderRidge on Friday. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Modrzewski saw the Grizzlies), he threw for 451 yards and five touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes.

The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in November of 2023. He got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 72 yards.
Blais must have Valor Christian's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Blais rushed for 64 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Eagles duked it out back in October of 2023.
