Austin Prep Academy extended their winning streak to three on Friday, bumping them up to 13-4. Everything went their way against the Lutheran South Academy Pioneers as they made off with an 85-62 victory. The Avengers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 22 points or more this season.

As for Lutheran South Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3. They have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Pioneers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaylen Walker, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten boards. Cason Calvo was another key player, shooting 45% from the field en route to 14 points.

Austin Prep Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 64-54 win against Empowering Others Prep on the 29th. As for Lutheran South Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-48 victory against Tournament Opponent on the 29th.
