The game was Conyers' third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Dominic Brown, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and three steals.
East Lake's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.3 points per game. As for Northeast, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
East Lake has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Palm Harbor University at 7:45 p.m. on December 8th. Palm Harbor University is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak. Northeast won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Pinellas Park at 7:45 p.m. on December 7th. Allowing an average of 75.7 points per game, Pinellas Park has struggled on the defensive end, but that doesn't have to be the case in this matchup.
