Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Coastal HomeSchool). They simply couldn't be stopped on Saturday as they easily beat the Alleluia Community Angels 86-45. The Hurricanes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.
Coastal HomeSchool was led to victory by Micah Faith and Alijah McField. Faith went 8 for 12 on his way to 25 points and six boards, while McField went 10 of 15 en route to 22 points and six rebounds. That's the most points McField has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of QZ Stephan, who posted seven points.
Coastal HomeSchool is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30 points. As for Alleluia Community, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coastal HomeSchool will face off against Bible Baptist Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Alleluia Community, they will square off against Peachtree Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Peachtree Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.1 points per game this season.
