After losing to South Shore International the last time they met, Goode STEM Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Knights came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tars on Thursday, sneaking past 2-1.

Goode STEM Academy was actually outscored in aggregate across those three sets (64-63), but they still managed to win. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 13-25, 25-21.

Goode STEM Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season. As for South Shore International, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Goode STEM Academy will challenge Chicago Vocational at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
