The Paraclete Spirits will challenge the Bishop Alemany Warriors at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both  have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Paraclete and four for Bishop Alemany.
 Last Friday, Paraclete didn't have quite enough to beat St. Paul and fell  31-28. The Spirits gained 97 more yards on the day, but it was the Swordsmen that made the best use of them.
 Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from  Joseph Mesa, who threw for 384 yards and four touchdowns while completing 80% of his passes, and also rushed for 33 yards. Another pass catcher making a difference was  Adrian Jones, who picked up 137 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
 Meanwhile,  a  win for Bishop Alemany just wasn't in the cards  on Friday as the  squad wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They lost  34-14 to St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy.
 Paraclete now  has a losing record at 4-5. As for Bishop Alemany, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
