On Tuesday, Uplift Ascend Prep beat Hampton Prep 53-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Uplift Ascend Prep.
Uplift Ascend Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Isaiah Wright, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Wright set a new season high mark in blocks with three. The team also got some help courtesy of Eligah Smith, who scored 19 points along with five steals.
Uplift Ascend Prep's win bumped their record up to 7-4-2. As for Hampton Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.
Uplift Ascend Prep will head out on the road to face off against Uplift Elevate Prep at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hampton Prep will be home for the holidays to greet Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 21st.
