Redmond and Inglemoor are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2016, but likely not for long. The Mustangs will face off against the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Redmond will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
If Redmond beats Inglemoor with 12 runs on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Mustangs beat Bellevue on Wednesday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 12-2.

The team relied heavily on Hiroshi Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with five RBI, one run, and one double. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Lance Burt was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one RBI.
Redmond was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Inglemoor beat Interlake 8-4 on Wednesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vikings.
Cooper Richter made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Richter was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run.
In other pitching news, Brody Ledger looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, Inglemoor let Jeffery Myhre and Connor Dowell run wild. Myhre got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run, while Dowell went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Myhre is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Benjamin Barnes, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Redmond pushed their record up to 12-7 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Inglemoor, their record now sits at 12-6.
Redmond was able to grind out a solid victory over Inglemoor when the teams last played on April 4th, winning 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
