After losing to the Rusk Eagles the last time they met, the Bishop Gorman Crusaders decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Bishop Gorman walked away with a  47-40  victory over Rusk  on Saturday. Given Bishop Gorman's advantage  in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings  (they are ranked 406th, while Rusk is ranked 1518th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
  Evan Thibodeaux was the offensive standout of the  contest as he  scored 13 points along with 3  steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which  he has scored at least 25% of Bishop Gorman's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Carlin Ifeadi, who  scored 6 points.
 Bishop Gorman is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last nine contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season. As for Rusk, they  still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
 Bishop Gorman will be staying on the road  on Saturday to face off against Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy at 1:30  p.m.  on December 9th. As for Rusk, they will be playing at home against Chapel Hill at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
