Needham's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the St. John's Prep Eagles, sneaking past 7-6. The Rockets' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Needham's win bumped their record up to 2-5. As for St. John's Prep, they dropped their record down to 3-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.
