The Orestimba Warriors will venture away from home to  face off against the Escalon Cougars  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Orestimba's offense  hasn't  had much luck over their past five  games, but Friday's   matchup will give them a chance to turn things around.
Orestimba's offense might be in the hot seat  on Friday considering what happened against Ripon Christian  on Friday. They took a  blow against the Knights, falling  57-0. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 621st, while the Knights are ranked 160th).
Meanwhile,  after only eight  points in their last  contest, Escalon made sure to put some  points up on the board against Ripon  on Friday. The Cougars came out on top against the Indians by a score of  35-28. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Cougars' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.
Escalon's win came from a few key players Orestimba will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was  Dylan Ball, who picked up 127 receiving yards and three  touchdowns, and also rushed for 38 yards and one  score.  Logan Huebner was another key player, throwing for 186 yards and three  TDs on only 15 passes.

However, it's not like Escalon struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 164.3  rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's   game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
 Orestimba was taken down by Escalon 41-14 in their previous matchup  back in November of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of   Huebner, who rushed for 76 yards and a pair of  touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 83 yards and three  TDs.
