Marion extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Nathaniel Halter. The Marion Bulldogs blew past the Kenedy Lions 88-47 on Friday thanks in part to Halter, who went 11 for 12 on his way to 24 points. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Kenedy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was William Campbell, who went 5 of 10 on his way to 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Karsen Reyes, who posted 11 points.

Marion has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game. As for Kenedy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Marion didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 78-38 win against Johnson City on the 28th. As for Kenedy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 65-56 defeat against Stockdale on the 28th.
