The Prairie View Buffalos's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Osawatomie on the road and fell 69-41. Prairie View has not had much luck with Osawatomie recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Osawatomie got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cooper Peterson out in front who scored ten points along with six rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Peterson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jasper Sallee, who scored 12 points along with seven assists.
Prairie View's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Osawatomie, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.
Prairie View will face off against Oswego at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Oswego focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Friday. As for Osawatomie, they will head out on the road to face off against Uniontown at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Uniontown will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
