On Friday Londonderry take on Windham at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close match.
Londonderry faced Pinkerton in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Londonderry lost to Pinkerton by a decisive 14-34 margin. Londonderry got a solid performance out of senior Evan Cormier, who accumulated 219 passing yards and picked up 56 yards on the ground; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win.
Meanwhile, after a big victory against Dover two weeks ago, Windham came back down to earth. Windham didn't finish too far behind, but the team still lost 6-10 to Exeter last Friday. Windham's low-scoring defeat was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the contest before.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
