On Friday Central take on Bishop Carroll at 7:00 PM. Central are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.
Central have had to suffer through a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They captured a comfortable 41-21 victory over Philipsburg-Osceola. Senior Noah Muthler, who rushed for 67 yards and 3 touchdowns, was a major factor in Central's success.
Meanwhile, it was all tied up at halftime, but Bishop Carroll weren't quite Huntingdon's equal in the second half when they met last Friday. Bishop Carroll fell to Huntingdon 14-21.
Central's win lifted them to 2-4 while Bishop Carroll's defeat dropped them down to 2-4. The Bishop Carroll defense got after the quarterback against Huntingdon to the tune of six sacks, so Central's offensive line better have put in some good practice this past week in preparation for the match.
