Paraclete never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Burroughs Burros 20-0. The result was nothing new for the Spirits, who have now won nine games by seven runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Paraclete and bumps their season record up to 15-1-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Burroughs, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-8.

Coming up, Paraclete will head out on the road to face off against Bishop Amat at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Burroughs, they will be playing at home against Sultana at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Burroughs' pitchers better be ready for this one: Sultana has averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season.
