The Kingman Academy Tigers will challenge the Parker Broncs at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Kingman Academy knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Parker likes a good challenge.
14 must be Kingman Academy's lucky number: they beat Highland Prep West with that score not once but twice on Tuesday. The Tigers beat the HORNETS by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 14-1. With that victory, the Tigers brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.
Lucas M was incredible, firing off two home runs and five RBI while going 2-for-3. Those RBI were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Baylor Short, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Kingman Academy lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in March of 2025.
Needles hit Parker with a eight-run fifth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Broncs came up short against the Mustangs, falling 10-3. The Broncs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Parker saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Fernando Baldenegro, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.
Parker's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Kingman Academy, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Kingman Academy has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Parker struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Kingman Academy might still be hurting after the 11-3 loss they got from Parker in their previous matchup back in March of 2025. Will the Tigers have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check back here after the action for a full breakdown and analysis of the contest.
