Volleyball Recap: Stagg Extends Winning Streak to Three

Stagg had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Tinley Park Titans. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Wednesday.

Katy Zumerchik paced Stagg's offense, picking up ten kills. Zumerchik got some help from Maggie Gasienica and her 19 assists. Ana Lopatka controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Stagg's win bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Tinley Park, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.

Stagg has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Rich Township on the 4th. As for Tinley Park, they will host Blue Island Eisenhower at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
