The New Palestine Dragons will head out on the road to face off against the Franklin Central Flashes at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in New Palestine's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
New Palestine's hitters will try to repeat the strong performance they gave on Friday, when they got past Plainfield's usually-dominant pitching crew. The Dragons blew past the Quakers 10-2. Fans of the Dragons have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.

Meanwhile, Franklin Central posted their closest victory since May 9, 2024 on Tuesday. They skirted past Avon 4-2.
Franklin Central also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in: Kiley Renick gave up only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Sarah Miller, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Audrina Yorn also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen bases of the season.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Wednesday. New Palestine hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game.
