The St. Charles East Fighting Saints are taking a road trip to  take on the Batavia Bulldogs  at 7:15  p.m.  on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as St. Charles East comes in on five and Batavia on three.
Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, St. Charles East beat St. Charles North 53-49.

 St. Charles East  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 16  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive boards in 11 consecutive  matches.
 Meanwhile, Batavia won against Geneva  on Friday with 43  points and they decided to stick to that  point total again  on Tuesday. Batavia managed  a  43-39 win over St. Charles North. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by  exactly four  points.
 Batavia has  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record  this season. As for St. Charles East, their victory was  their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 21-6.
 St. Charles East didn't have too much breathing room in their  game against Batavia  in their previous meeting  back in January, but they still walked away with  a  43-37 win.
