North Shore hasn't had much luck against Atascocita recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Mustangs will be playing at home against the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. Atascocita took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on North Shore, who comes in off a win.
North Shore is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Channelview on Tuesday as they made off with a 21-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.
Janelle Amador was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four runs, and five RBI. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two). Jolissa Ramirez was another key player, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4.

Meanwhile, Atascocita faced Kingwood in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Eagles fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 3-2. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost four in a row.
Maya Hernandez spent all ten innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on seven hits.

North Shore pushed their record up to 9-11 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Atascocita, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-5.
