Jett Goldsberry Goes Supernova in Heritage Hills Win
Starting off the list is Heritage Hills's Jett Goldsberry, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Goldsberry rushed for 142 yards and four touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 99 yards and a touchdown. His longest rush was for an impressive 54 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Unfortunately for Mt. Vernon, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Goldsberry. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Goldsberry saw the Wildcats), he rushed for 157 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 113 yards on four of 13 attempts.

Boonville is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 3-4 record this season. Mckinney and Boonville will take on Washington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Meredith Made His Presence Known in Heritage Hills' 55-6 Win
The second Heritage Hills player making an appearance here is Hunter Meredith, and for good reason. He rushed for 113 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 58 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Meredith must have Mt. Vernon's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Meredith last faced the Wildcats back in September of 2023, he rushed for 126 yards and four touchdowns on only six carries.

Xavion Lesure Makes It Two for Washington
The second Washington player making an appearance here is Xavion Lesure, and for good reason. He picked up 57 receiving yards, and also rushed for 40 yards.
This season, Lesure has averaged 19.9 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 56.14 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 97.14 rushing yards.
