The biggest upset of the week belonged to Triway, who took down 190th ranked Triway, 33-32.
Fairless moved up to 431 from 476 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Principals. The Falcons climbed the ranks as a result of a 23-17 win over Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy.
Clayton Miller was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 153 yards on 22 carries as Manchester beat Manchester. Teammate Nick Peyakov added to the ground attack by rushing for 77 yards.
Parker Carmichael threw for 320 yards and four touchdowns. He was 24-38 with zero interceptions.
Cody Brewer provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Mustangs defeated the Panthers. He completed 23 passes for 331 yards and three touchdowns and also ran for 62 yards. Brewer's favorite target this week was Blair, who caught eight passes for 155 yards.
Grant Iler made the biggest impact on defense this week as Tuslaw bested Manchester. The 6-foot-2 senior racked up 1.0 sack.
5-foot-10 quarterback Carmichael of the Titans is the league leader in passing yards this season with 2073. He has also thrown 23 touchdowns. On the ground, Indian Valley's Jake Davis has rushed for 692 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Jamar Dukes. The Manchester star has 42 catches for 595 yards.
Two of the top units in Principals will face off this week when Triway takes on Jim France's team. Tony Lee's team's offense has racked up 229 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while the Panthers have allowed only 144 on the year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Titans take on Manchester. Triway is currently in first, while the Panthers are in third.
There should be lots of points scored when the Titans and Manchester face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Triway comes in having scored 229 this season, while the Panthers have scored 209. The Titans scored 32 points last week as they lost to the Braves.
Indian Valley and Triway played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Indian Valley eventually emerging with a 33-32 victory.
