They took their game at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 54-21 win over Van Horn. The win was familiar territory for Balmorhea who now have four in a row.
When it comes to explaining why Van Horn lost, one person who can't be blamed is Taylor Martinez. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Balmorhea's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.5 points per game. As for Van Horn, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.
Balmorhea will head out on the road to face off against Big Bend at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Van Horn, they will be playing at home against Marfa at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
