 Irmo's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Chapin, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
 Chapin was dealt a bruising  38-7 defeat at the hands of Irmo in their previous meeting  back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Eagles,  Aaron (Aj) Brand Jr. (who rushed for 133 yards and a pair of  TDs on only 13 carries, and also threw for 115 yards and one  touchdown) won't be suiting up this time.
