The Cass Colonels's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs at 3:00 p.m. on December 21st. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Cass fought the good fight in their overtime match against Paulding County on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 54-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots.
Meanwhile, Winder-Barrow's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their seventh straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 51-36 to Walnut Grove. While losing is never fun, Winder-Barrow can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 500th, while Walnut Grove is ranked 193rd).
Cass' loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-3. As for Winder-Barrow, their defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 1-12.
