If The Garber Dukes were feeling good off their 30-7 takedown of the Laingsburg Wolfpack last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Garber was outmatched by Frankenmuth on the road and fell 65-13. Garber was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-13.
Despite the loss, Garber still got an impressive performance from Max Fellows, who picked up 209 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Jack Rich looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 131 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, while also throwing for 77 yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes. Kobbi Ke and his 99 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Frankenmuth's win.
Garber's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Frankenmuth, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.
Garber does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Frankenmuth will be playing in front of their home fans against Birch Run at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Birch Run is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
