Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Grandview Wolves walked away with it. They skirted past the Raiders 25-23. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Grandview.
Liam Szarka was his usual excellent self, rushing for 59 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing for 174 yards and a touchdown while completing 71.4% of his passes.
Even if they lost, Regis Jesuit's defense still kept up the pressure with 3.5 sacks. Kj kenneth Mchugh was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two sacks himself.
Grandview's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Regis Jesuit, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.
Grandview will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Chatfield at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Chatfield's defense has only allowed 16.6 points per game this season, so Grandview's offense will have their work cut out for Grandview. Regis Jesuit does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
