Volleyball Recap: Liberty's Winning Streak Snapped at Four Games

It was a good run, but Liberty unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Wyoming East Warriors by a score of 2-1. The Raiders were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Warriors earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Liberty started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-10, 15-12.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 21-9-3. As for Wyoming East, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-12-3.

Coincidentally, Liberty and Wyoming East will both be playing Independence the next time they take the court. The Raiders will host the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
