The ABF Academy Homestead Bandits will venture away from home to take on the Coral Shores Hurricanes at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
Last Tuesday, ABF Academy Homestead came up short against Sunset and fell 9-6. The Bandits haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

ABF Academy Homestead got a good showing from Kieth Aguas, who struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Aguas has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Narvin Meyer was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with five RBI, one triple, and one run. Those RBI were his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Alex Reguiera, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3.
Meanwhile, Coral Shores entered their tilt with Hialeah on Friday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. They blew past the Thoroughbreds 15-0. The result was nothing new for the Hurricanes, who have now won three games by seven runs or more so far this season.
Donovan Thiery was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only a hit while striking out 12 over four innings pitched. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in strikeouts. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with five RBI, two doubles, and one triple.
In other batting news, Coral Shores got a big performance out of Maykol Bonito, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. AJ Putetti was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
Coral Shores was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .542. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .304 or higher in four consecutive matches.
Coral Shores' record now sits at 5-1-1. As for ABF Academy Homestead, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
ABF Academy Homestead beat Coral Shores 7-3 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for ABF Academy Homestead since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
