Lanesboro lost to LeRoy-Ostrander on Tuesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Burros sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Cardinals.
Despite the loss, LeRoy-Ostrander saw an underclassman step up: freshman Tessa Lewison had 14 digs and one assist. Lewison is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last three games she's played.
