Culver Academies has gone a perfect 5-0 against Knox recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Eagles will look to defend their home field against the Redskins at 4:30 p.m. Culver Academies is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.
Culver Academies is returning home triumphant after the team finally put their road woes behind them against LaVille on Tuesday. The Eagles came out on top against the Lancers by a score of 7-3. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Lancers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Max Grundberg made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off only two hits. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one double. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Will Harris, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Thomas Oliver-Overmyer, who went 2-for-3 with four runs and two stolen bases.
Culver Academies hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in six consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Knox). They walked away with a 13-10 win over West Central on Saturday.
Knox let Keegan Everage and Brady Fort run wild. Everage went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Fort went 2-for-5 with three runs and three RBI. Knox is undefeated when Fort posts two or more runs, but 2-3-1 otherwise. Myles Mclaughlin was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.
Knox's victory bumped their record up to 5-3-1. As for Culver Academies, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
Everything went Culver Academies' way against Knox in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, as Culver Academies made off with a 10-2 victory. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Redskins turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
