Moses Brown found their leader in underclassman Lauren Bousquet, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds. The contest was Bousquet's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jaelynn Perez, who scored ten points along with seven steals.
Moses Brown's win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 19.38 points. As for Smithfield, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moses Brown will challenge West Warwick at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Smithfield, they will head out on the road to face off against Cranston East at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cranston East is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
