River Valley Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to  Aden Montgomery
 River Valley picked up their seventh consecutive win   on Thursday thanks in part to  Aden Montgomery. Montgomery did his part (and then some), making four total tackles (1.0 for loss) for the 'W'. His longest rush was for an incredible 88 yards.
 River Valley's win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 7-0. Montgomery and River Valley will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Odyssey Institute at 7:00  p.m.  on October 18th.

Isac Urias and Co. Win Fourth in a Row
 Mohave picked up their fourth consecutive win   on Friday thanks in part to  Isac Urias. Nobody could stop  Urias as he rushed for 95 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 47 yards and two touchdowns.
 Mohave's win was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 5-2. Urias and Mohave will challenge Wickenburg at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday.

A Season-Best  Performance from  Mickey Smith Leads River Valley over Kingman
 On Thursday, River Valley got the W thanks in part to  Mickey Smith playing the best football he has all season. Smith rushed for 74 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 66 yards and two touchdowns. The  performance  marked the most  rushing yards  he has had since back in September of 2023. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 69 yards.
 For the year,  Smith  has thrown 13 touchdowns while averaging 87.7 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive:  after seven games last season,  he was only averaging 76.33  passer rating per game. This year he is averaging 123.13  passer rating.

Triston Urias Turns in Season-Best  Performance
 On Friday, Mohave got the W thanks in part to  Triston Urias playing the best football he has all season. Urias rushed for 36 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown.
 This year,  Urias  has caught 2 touchdowns while averaging 25.4 receiving yards per game. He's  made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year,  he had one  receiving touchdown.
