University is 8-2 against Westchester since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wildcats will take on the Comets at 3:00 p.m. University has given up an average of 7 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
University came up short against Los Angeles CES on Monday, falling 12-5. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kayla Carpenter was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and ten unearned) runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
In other batting news, Ditagi Smith made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Julissa Jimenez, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.
Meanwhile, Westchester lost 17-3 to Hamilton on Friday.
Westchester saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Arianna Green, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.
University now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Westchester, the loss was their first at home , dropping their record down to 4-3.
Thursday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. University hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .325. However, it's not like Westchester struggles in that department as they've averaged .339. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
