With a playoff win on the line, Conway rose to the challenge  on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Lugoff-Elgin Demons  3-2. The  win was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won six  contests in a row.
 If you add up the scores from across all five sets (104-101) Conway actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 18-25, 25-21, 17-25,  15-9.
 Olivia Drew paced Conway's offense, picking up 15 kills. Drew got some help from  Madeline Green and her 21 assists.
Conway's victory bumped their record up to 17-10. As for Lugoff-Elgin, their loss  ended  a  12-match streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 21-4.
 Looking ahead, Conway is taking a road trip to  take on Myrtle Beach  at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. Lugoff-Elgin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
