The Franklin Panthers started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against the West Henderson Falcons. They took a 28-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons on Thursday.
Despite the loss, Franklin had strong showings from Zavion Ensley, who gained 164 total yards and two touchdowns, and Anderson Terrell, who threw for 99 yards and three touchdowns. Terrell is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last three games he's played.
Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for West Henderson, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin will take on T.C. Roberson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. T.C. Roberson is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last eight games. As for West Henderson, they will be playing at home against Tuscola at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
