Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caden Edmond, who posted 14 points and eight boards. Edmond is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last 12 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Demetrius Myers, who earned 16 points.
Central smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in 16 consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Andrew Jackson was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past North Central 88-50. The Volunteers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 23 points or more this season.
