The Gwynn Park Yellowjackets won the last time they faced the Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North Tigers, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Gwynn Park claimed a resounding 68-39 win over Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Gwynn Park.
Despite the loss, Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North still got an impressive performance from Jayden Austin, who scored 12 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Austin has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Foncham Ambe, who scored six points.
Gwynn Park pushed their record up to 2-0 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.7 points per game. As for Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Gwynn Park will head out on the road to face off against Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North, they will be playing at home against Friendly at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
