The Booker T. Washington Golden Eagles won the last time they faced the Notasulga Blue Devils, and things went their way on Monday too. Booker T. Washington took their game at home with ease, bagging a 52-16 win over Notasulga. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 31-8.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Booker T. Washington to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tylizea Sanders, who scored 10 points along with 3 steals. The contest was Sanders' sixth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nyla Strum, who scored 13 points.
Booker T. Washington pushed their record up to 4-2 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Notasulga, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Booker T. Washington will head out on the road to face off against Lanier at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Notasulga, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Holtville at 4:45 p.m.
