The Lake Brantley Patriots waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with nine straight wins but they left with ten. They took down Boone 51-35. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Lake Brantley also won the last time the pair played last Tuesday.
Lake Brantley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Princeton Gordon out in front who scored 13 points. Aidan Haluszka was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Lake Brantley's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.9 points per game. As for Boone, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.
Lake Brantley will look to defend their home court on Friday against Central Florida Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. Central Florida Christian Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Boone on the road again on Friday and play against Lake Howell at 5:00 p.m. on January 26th. Lake Howell knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Boone likes a good challenge.
