After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Del City, The Glenpool Warriors were happy to have found some success on Friday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 50-15 victory over East Central. The high flying offensive effort was a huge turnaround for Glenpool's zero-point performance the contest before.
Despite the loss, East Central still got an impressive performance from Jordan Wilson, who picked up 81 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Glenpool's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for East Central, their defeat was their ninth straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 2-9.
Glenpool will take on McAlester at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Central, they will head out on the road to face off against Sapulpa at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sapulpa will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
