Starkville's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Etowah,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-4.
 Starkville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  13-0  defeat against Brandon on the 22nd. As for Etowah, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  game,  a  9-4  win against Collinsville on the 25th.
