The Mechanicsburg Indians will face off against the Southeastern Local Trojans at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mechanicsburg will be strutting in after a win while Southeastern Local will be coming in after a loss.
Mechanicsburg took a loss when they played away from home last Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They blew past Triad 10-1. The high-scoring effort was just what the Indians needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.
Mylee DeLong made a splash no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
