Prince Avenue Christian added to the longest winning streak in A Region 8 this week by beating Hebron Christian Academy, 57-7. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Prince Avenue Christian took down the Lions 57-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Hebron Christian Academy's Conner Holliday and Jacob Harper have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-1 quarterback Holliday has thrown for 1,310 yards this season, while Harper has 33 catches for 574 yards. Stanley Williams from George Walton Academy leads the league in rushing with 757 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Athens Academy takes on the Bulldogs. At the moment, the Spartans are in fifth, while George Walton Academy is in second.
Towns County made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,427 from 12,819. The improvement was the result of a 48-10 victory over North Cobb Christian last week.
