The Preston Knights can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Thursday. They really took it to Fairmont Senior for the full four quarters, racking up a 68-36 victory at home. The win was familiar territory for Preston who now have three in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Preston to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ella White, who scored nine points along with eight assists and six steals. That's the first time this season that White posted eight or more assists. Isabella Miller was another key contributor, scoring 19 points.
Preston has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Fairmont Senior, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Preston will take on East Fairmont at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in East Fairmont's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Fairmont Senior, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lincoln at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Lincoln focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Saturday.
