The Custer Wildcats waltzed into their game on Saturday with three straight wins but they left with four. They managed a 55-50 win over Wall. That's another feather in the cap for Custer, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
When it comes to explaining why Wall lost, one person who can't be blamed is Brodi Sundall. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Emmet Dinger, who scored eight points.
Custer's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-3. As for Wall, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Custer will take on Rapid City Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rapid City Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 837 points over their last 11 games. As for Wall, Wall and Hot Springs will face off at 6:45 p.m. on January 23rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hot Springs is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
